The childcare assistant will work closely with the childcare teacher in conducting daily duties such as preparing and serving meals, changing diapers, writing daily reports, recording attendance, engaging in play, assisting to put children to sleep, and creating a safe environment.

Supervise children provided quality learning experiences for infants, toddlers,  and pre-k children. Foster strong relationships with children as well as parents/caregivers through communication, flexibility, patience and creativity.

Drive children to or from daycare/school. Check the condition of a vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, fuel, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order. Report any van malfunctions or needed repairs.

Preparing Breakfast, snacks, and Lunch for approximately 100 preschool age children and  staff. Following all guidelines for the CACFP and preparing and serving required amounts of food for all children. Maintaining a clean environment.
